Two friends, a girl and a guy always coincidentally
cross each other’s path. When this happens, all of a sudden the wind comes and
blows their hair. In the background, a romantic music starts. For few seconds
they just look into each other’s eyes. They smile and finally the girl or the
guy breaks the silence and says “Hello”. They talk for few minutes and may be
while talking all of a sudden, from nowhere, a person comes and pushes the girl
towards the guy. She loses her balance and is about to fall but the guy holds
her. Again the romantic music starts in the background, they look into each
other’s eyes and after few minutes the guy uplifts her. The girl says
thank you and then they talk to each other for few minutes and say goodbye.
They both leave from opposite directions. They both are smiling and again the
wind blows their hairs. The romantic music starts and the girl turn around to
check if the guy is still looking at her. But, with a little disappointment,
she turns back, and vice-versa happens. Still, they could not stop
smiling because of the emotions and vibes they shared. They know that somewhere
they both like each other. These coincidences affirm that they are meant for
each other. Otherwise why every time they cross each other’s path? Their destiny
is giving them a clue that something will going to happen between them.
This is what we as an audience also thinks when we
watch this kind of a scene in a movie, isn’t it? What if this happens in real
life but with a twist?
A girl and a guy knew each other and often times
coincidentally crossed each other’s path. Initially, they both ignored the
coincidences. But, after some time whenever the coincidence happened, the
girl started noticing it. She wanted to ignore all the coincidences that happened.
But, whenever she tried to do that another coincidence happened. For a
while, she couldn’t believe in the coincidences that happened. As she knew the
guy, she thought that there might be something between them. Gradually she
started liking that guy. Still, she wanted to get rid of this but wherever she
went to some place that guy used to cross her paths. She always used to think
that she had a lot of relatives, friends, how come they never crossed her
paths? Why it’s always him? Her feelings for him got stronger and eventually
she fell in love with him. Baffled she was; couldn’t believe that she
actually fell in love with him.
After years she told the guy about all the coincidences
and of course that she loves him. The guy was shocked and perplexed. He didn’t
know what to say. Well, his answer was quite obvious by his reaction. So, the
girl never asked him again. She wanted to get rid of all these but again the
coincidences happened. But, thank god she could say about those coincidences to
the guy. And thankfully the guy also started noticing those coincidences.
Sometimes he would text that I saw your family or you or your friends and the
vice-versa. But, sometimes the girl used to think, how come the guy never
seriously thought about this? She wanted to ask this to the guy but she thought
let’s ignore this. She thought if the guy is so pragmatic and knows about
his feelings then why can’t she could be like him? Therefore she didn’t use to
think seriously about all the coincidences that happened and would going to
happen. In fact sometimes when she coincidentally saw the guy she ignored and
didn’t use to tell him. Eventually, her feelings started fading away.
They were friends and most importantly she was happy with this. She was clear
about everything.
But, years ago for one place; she thought that if they
will cross each other’s path at that place then they are destined to be
together. She said to herself and her Omnipresent Friend because she knew
this will never going to happen. She barely goes to that place on the day and
almost at the time when he used to go to that place. If there could be a chance
to meet coincidentally, it would be 0.001%.
She almost forgot this thing but one day she remembered
this when they crossed each other’s path at that place. They talked and of
course, this wasn’t like a romantic scene that we watch in the movies. They
met, talked, and went from opposite directions. After few minutes she
remembered the thing which she told to herself and her Omnipresent Friend.
She was shocked and was asking herself and to her Omnipresent Friend,
Why? This was to be the place where they were not supposed to meet. How come
this 0.001% chance turned into 100%? Why? How? And again Why? She sighed
because she knew she would not get the answer.
At one point she felt that she should ask the guy, may
be something is there. But when she looked into the past she thought it’s
unworthy to ask.
Alas! When she hit the reality, she again affirmed that
some people are not destined to be together.
